    MAIN YARDSITE
    Home/Yard
    1984 – 4 bedroom/2 bathroom bungalow.  1384 sq.ft.   Developed basement with rec room/office/cold storage.  Walk-in door to basement.  Renos done within past four years:  new laminate in bedrooms, harwood in living room and ceramic flooring everywhere else.
    Front deck is 28x12 with garden doors off of dining room.
    Yard is abundant in fruit trees including saskatoon berries, raspberries, honey berries.

    Water Source
    Water source is a 6500 gallon cistern (underground outside).  It is just over 10 km to the water-filling station – this service could be hired out instead of doing it yourself.

    Heat source is GEOTHERMAL HEAT.  Efficient and economical – provides energy efficient air-conditioning in the summer.  Heating system set-up to heat up the water as well.  Power and heat bill totals around $2000 a YEAR!

    This is located about 10 km north of the main yardsite.  1957 well-constructed home with a metal roof comes with this yardsite. Underground power.  GEOTHERMAL HEAT installed here as well.

    Water sources are a cistern and a well.  
    
    Outbuildings
    Outbuildings include a 40x80 quonset, two barns and steel bins.
    
    LAND DETAILS
    Six quarters in total.  Of the 960 total acres, approximately 700 are open.  60 acres are certified organic.  Of these 700, about 110 acres are in alfalfa – remainder is cropped.  Lots of wildlife on the alfalfa quarter.  
    Typical yields for HRSW would be 40-60 bushels/acre and for canola would be 35-45 bushels/acre.  We are currently renting out all of the land except for the 60 certified organic acres.
    
    Home quarter is set-up for cattle.  Newer fencing.  Water bowls (water source is a well) are in place.
    
    Two smaller lakes are on two quarters – ideal for waterfowl hunting.

    The main yardsite is about 9 miles north of Kamsack.  The second yardsite is about 15 miles north of Kamsack.
